Commissioned portrait of a fine French Bulldog who reminds me of the 19th century. Louis is a true gentleman; refined, comical, and very polite! I used several Trompe L'oil techniques to acheive the "bronzed" background, "gold" porthole, and delicate "engraved" lettering for his wonderful French name.
